Terrance “Terry” Smith, PA-C

Terry Smith is a State of Texas Licensed and National Certified Physician Assistant providing general orthopaedic care for patients at Orthopaedic Associates of Central Texas.  Terry works in many capacities within the office, hospital, and in surgery.  Having a background as a paramedic, he is well versed in working with trauma patients but has a strong ability in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with degenerative orthopaedic conditions. Therefore, no matter what the age or diagnosis of the patient, Mr. Smith makes it a point to treat each patient individually and arrive at the best solution for each individual.

Terry has five years of experience working as a physician assistant in neurosurgery where he performed all aspects of patient care within the office, hospital, and as a first assist in surgery.  Additionally, he brings two years of experience in Family Medicine, where he gained an intimate knowledge in treating a diverse patient population of ages and illness.  Terry holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication and a Bachelor of Science for Physician Assistant where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude and Cum Laude honors, respectfully.

Terry is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and a Fellow in the American Academy of Physician Assistants.  When he is not working in the office or hospital with patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife at home in Georgetown Texas.
