Dr. Putney is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, specializing in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder, total joint replacement, general orthopaedics and sports medicine.
He completed medical school and his residency and internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Dr. Putney is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Williamson County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association.
He has team affiliations with Round Rock Express, Triple-A Pacific Coast League Minor League Baseball and Liberty Hill High School. In his spare time, Dr. Putney enjoys participating in outdoor sports including wakeboarding, snow skiing, and training and hunting with his dog.
