Jennifer Lord, M.D.
Dr. Jennifer Lord is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgeon. She enjoys treating both adults and children for their orthopaedic issues. Dr. Lord has particular interests in carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, arthritic conditions of the upper extremity including joint replacement, sports and over-use injuries of the upper extremity, nerve and vascular disorders, and fractures. She believes in minimally invasive approaches, when appropriate, including non-operative therapy and arthroscopic surgery.
“My patients’ understanding of their problem and the treatment options is of utmost importance when providing care. A well-informed patient is better equipped to participate in their care, be involved in treatment decisions, and achieve the best outcome.”
Dr. Lord graduated from MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia and then completed her orthopaedic residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Choosing to specialize in upper extremity disorders, she completed her fellowship training in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Wake Forest University Medical Center in North Carolina. When not in the office, she enjoys outdoor activities including equestrian competition, hiking, backpacking, and skiing. Her husband, who is also an outdoor enthusiast, is a practicing pediatrician in the area.
