David Gillory, M.D. David Gillory, M.D.

Dr. David Gillory came to Orthopaedic Associates of Central Texas in 1983, just after completing his orthopaedic surgery residency. Today, more than 20 years later, Dr. Gillory still practices at the same office, putting his years of experience to work to quickly and accurately diagnose orthopaedic problems to facilitate a speedy recovery for his patients.

As a general orthopedist, Dr. Gillory sees a wide range of patients—from children with fractures to adults suffering from sports injuries or degenerative joint conditions. His top areas of specialization include total knee and total hip replacements, along with arthroscopic shoulder surgery and knee reconstruction. Before recommending surgery, however, he first takes action to accomplish the goal through more conservative measures.

Dr. Gillory is a member of the Round Rock Rotary Club and the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his professional and personal involvement in the Round Rock community, Dr. Gillory has also participated in medical mission trips to Honduras, conducting surgeries for those who otherwise would not have access to the advanced orthopaedic care they need. He and his family—wife, Dianne, and children, Lauren, Rachel, and David—have also participated in non-medical mission trips sponsored by First United Methodist Church, where they are active members. When he has moments to spare, he enjoys bicycle riding, boating, traveling, and reading.
